Happy Valentine’s Day, Community Fitness Club. We will end the week with a challenging workout I call “WOD You Be My Valentine?” Have fun, and let your loved ones know how much you care about them today!

If you are already comfortable working out, please perform the following WOD as prescribed (Rx):

WOD You Be My Valentine?

Rx:

2 rounds for time:

14 deadlifts (95lb, 65lb)

14 hang power cleans (95lb, 65lb)

14 push presses (95lb, 65lb)

14 toes-to-bar

14 burpees

Beginners can modify both the movements and the weights. A beginner’s version of today’s workout could look like this:

Scaled 1:

2 rounds for time:

14 kettlebell deadlifts (20lb, 15lb)

14 dumbbell hang power cleans (10lb, 5lb)

14 dumbbell push presses (10lb, 5lb)

14 toes-to-rig

14 elevated, no push-up burpees

Perhaps something between the Rx version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:

Scaled 2:

2 rounds for time:

14 deadlifts (55lb, 45lb)

14 hang power cleans (55lb, 45lb)

14 push presses (55lb, 45lb)

14 hanging knee raises

14 step-back burpees

Your score is the amount of time it takes you to complete the WOD. If you would like, leave your score in the comment section below!
