Let’s end the week with a WOD containing three familiar, bodyweight exercises. For today’s workout, you will complete ten rounds of 15 air squats, 10 sit-ups, and 5 push-ups. Have fun, and work hard!
If you are comfortable working out and feel capable, please perform the following WOD as prescribed (Rx):
Rx:
10 rounds for time:
15 air squats
10 abmat sit-ups
5 push-ups
A beginner can reduce the total number of rounds and modify the movements to make today’s workout more doable. A beginner’s version of today’s WOD could look like this:
Scaled 1:
7 rounds for time:
15 air squats to a plyo box or sit-to-stands
10 anchored or assisted sit-ups
5 wall push-ups
Perhaps something between the Rx version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
10 rounds for time:
15 air squats to a wall ball
10 abmat sit-ups
5 kneeling push-ups
Please listen to your body, and pick the version of the workout that is right for you. You can always adjust mid-WOD if you find that the modifications you’ve picked are too easy or too difficult.
