TGIF, Community Fitness Club! We will close out this week with a simple couplet of double unders and wall walks. The goal of today’s workout is to complete 6 rounds of 30 double unders and 3 wall walks as quickly as possible. Get it done, and then go enjoy your weekend! You’ve earned it!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
6 rounds for time:
30 double unders
3 wall walks
Beginners can perform single unders or imaginary jump rope instead of double unders and inchworms instead of wall walks. A beginner’s version of today’s WOD could look like this:
Scaled 1:
6 rounds for time:
30 single unders or 60 imaginary jump rope
6 inchworms
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Today is a great day to practice your double unders. Just pick a number that you’re comfortable with. If you’re not quite ready to perform full wall walks, pick a different modification. Information on how to scale wall walks can be found in the link below. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
6 rounds for time:
15 double unders or 60 single unders
3 partial wall walks or box wall walks
Your score is the total amount of time it takes you to complete today’s workout. If you’d like, leave your score in the comment section below!
