It’s the last day of June, Community Fitness Club! Let’s see out the month with 4 rounds of 20 kettlebell swings, 100 feet of bear crawl, 50 feet of walking lunges, and 40 mountain climbers. When figuring out how far to bear crawl and walking lunge today, there’s no need to break out a measuring stick. 100 feet is roughly equal to 30 big steps, and approximation is good enough. Get after it, and then go enjoy your weekend!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
4 rounds for time:
20 American kettlebell swings (53lb, 35lb)
100 feet of bear crawl
50 feet of walking lunges
40 mountain climbers
Beginners can modify the movements and the rep scheme of today’s workout. A beginner’s version of today’s workout could look like this:
Scaled 1:
6 rounds for time:
10 Russian kettlebell swings (20lb, 15lb)
50 feet of bear crawl
10 modified lunges
20 mountain climbers
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
4 rounds for time:
20 American kettlebell swings (35lb, 22lb)
100 feet of bear crawl
50 feet of walking lunges
40 mountain climbers
