It’s Monday, Community Fitness Club! We will start our week with a 15 minute AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) that consists of inchworm push-ups, toes-to-bar, and box jumps. The goal of today’s workout is to complete as much work as possible, so work hard and do your best!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD as prescribed (Rx):
Rx:
15 minute AMRAP:
5 inchworm push-ups
5 toes-to-bar
10 box jumps (24in., 20in.)
AMRAPs scale automatically. A beginner will naturally perform fewer reps than an advanced athlete. However, it is often necessary to scale other aspects of the workout as well. Beginners can perform inchworms instead of inchworm push-ups and toes-to-rig rather than toes-to-bar. They can also reduce the height of the box jumps or substitute box step-ups. A beginner’s version of today’s workout could look like this:

15 minute AMRAP:
3 inchworms
5 toes-to-rig
10 box jumps to comfortable height
Perhaps something between the Rx version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:

15 minute AMRAP:
5 inchworms to kneeling push-ups
5 hanging knee lifts
10 box jumps (20in., 20in.)
Please listen to your body, and pick the version of the workout that is right for you. You can always adjust mid-WOD if you find that the modifications you’ve picked are too easy or too difficult.
