Stretching

Stretching to improve your mobility is an important but often overlooked part of any well-rounded fitness program. There are thousands of different stretches one could add to their daily routine, but the following video goes over six basic ones that will greatly improve your mobility both in the gym and in everyday life:

The first stretch in the video begins at approximately 0:50 and aims to increase your overhead shoulder mobility. Cat cow stretches for your spine are covered at 2:05. Hamstring and back mobility are addressed by touching your toes at 2:28, and then squatting mobility is covered at 3:02. The video ends with two more stretches: one more focusing on shoulder mobility at 4:13 and one to increase wrist mobility at 5:12. If you begin incorporating these six simple stretches into your regular routine, I think you’ll be very happy with the results!
