Today’s workout consists of 5 rounds of 10 push-ups, 20 walking lunges, and 40 double unders. If you’re working on learning double unders, it is okay to reduce the number you perform each round or to work for a set amount of time on practicing double unders each round. The only way to learn to do double unders is to practice! Take the time to do so today!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
5 rounds for time:
10 push-ups
20 dumbbell walking lunges (50lb, 35lb)
40 double unders
Beginners can modify the movements and scale the number of rounds to make today’s WOD more doable. A beginner’s version of today’s WOD could look like this:
Scaled 1:
4 rounds for time:
10 wall push-ups
20 modified lunges
20 single unders or 40 imaginary jump rope
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
5 rounds for time:
10 kneeling push-ups or box push-ups
20 dumbbell walking lunges (30lb, 20lb)
80 single unders or 20 double unders or 45 seconds of double under practice
