Today, we will be performing five rounds of 10 kettlebell swings, 20 dumbbell walking lunges, and 30 double unders. Please remember, you can always personalize the workouts to your current fitness level. Pick the scaling options and weights that are right for you. You know your body best!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
5 rounds for time:
10 American kettlebell swings (53lb, 35lb)
20 dumbbell walking lunges (35lb, 25lb)
30 double unders
If you are new to this type of workout, please scale both the movements and the rep scheme to your current fitness level. A beginner’s version of today’s WOD could look like this:
Scaled 1:
5 rounds for time:
10 Russian kettlebell swings (15lb, 10lb)
14 modified lunges
20 single unders or 40 imaginary jump rope
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
5 rounds for time:
10 American kettlebell swings (35lb, 22lb)
20 dumbbell walking lunges (25lb, 15lb)
15 double unders or 60 single unders
