It’s the last day of June, Community Fitness Club! Let’s see out the month with kettlebell deadlifts, box jumps, and burpees. The goal of today’s workout is to complete 8 rounds of 15 kettlebell deadlifts, 10 box jumps, and 5 burpees as quickly as possible. However, please be careful during the box jumps!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
8 rounds for time:
15 kettlebell deadlifts (53lb, 35lb)
10 box jumps (24in., 20in.)
5 burpees
If this type of workout is new to you, please modify the movements as needed. Pick a height for the box jumps that feels comfortable for you. Remember, you can also substitute box step-ups if your joints don’t feel like jumping today. A beginner’s version of today’s workout could look like this:
Scaled 1:
6 rounds for time:
15 kettlebell deadlifts (20lb, 15lb)
10 box jumps to a comfortable height
5 elevated, no push-up burpees
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:

8 rounds for time:
15 kettlebell deadlifts (35lb, 22lb)
10 box jumps to a comfortable height
5 step-back burpees
