Today’s workout is a 15 minute AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible). The goal today is to complete as many rounds of 15 sit-ups, 10 kettlebell swings, and 5 deadlifts as you can during the 15 minute workout period. Work hard! You can do it!
If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD:
Experienced:
15 minute AMRAP:
15 abmat sit-ups
10 American kettlebell swings (53lb, 35lb)
5 deadlifts (225lb, 155lb)
Beginners can modify today’s workout by reducing the number of sit-ups in each round and by substituting Russian kettlebell swings for American kettlebell swings and kettlebell deadlifts for barbell deadlifts. A beginner’s version of today’s workout could look like this:
Scaled 1:
15 minute AMRAP:
5 anchored or assisted sit-ups
10 Russian kettlebell swings (20lb, 15lb)
5 kettlebell deadlifts (20lb, 15lb)
Perhaps something between the experienced version and the beginner version of the WOD is right for you today. Another variation of today’s WOD might look like this:
Scaled 2:
15 minute AMRAP:
10 abmat sit-ups
10 American kettlebell swings (35lb, 22lb)
5 deadlifts (135lb, 95lb)
