Today’s WOD is a rowing workout. You will complete 4 rounds of rowing 800 meters then resting for 90 seconds. This workout will give you practice in pacing yourself throughout a workout. An eight hundred meter row is too long to go all out, and a 90 second rest is not long enough to fully recover before rowing again. Try to find a pace where you can finish the 800 meters in approximately the same amount of time each round. This will probably mean rowing at a more conservative pace the first round and pushing yourself the final round.

If you are an experienced athlete and feel capable, please perform the following WOD as prescribed (Rx):

Rx:

4 rounds for time:

800m row

90 second rest

The distance of the row can be scaled to make this WOD more accessible. Choose a distance that is right for you. A scaled version of today’s workout could look like this:

Scaled:

4 rounds for time:

600m row

90 second rest

Your score is the amount of time it takes you to complete today’s workout. If you’d like, leave your score in the comment section below!
