Air squats

Our workouts will often include air squats, also known as bodyweight squats. Air squats are helpful for building muscular strength in your lower body, improving your balance, engaging your core, and preparing you for weighted squats like the back squat or front squat.


Many people struggle with achieving proper depth in the air squat. We can scale the depth of the air squat by using a target such as a plyo box or a wall ball to squat to. The following video shows how you can progressively scale the depth of your air squat as your mobility improves with practice.
