Thrusters

Thrusters are a tough, full-body exercise that work your glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, core, back, triceps, and shoulders. They combine a front squat with a push press and will definitely get your heart pumping while improving your balance and coordination. If you don’t feel comfortable using a barbell, you can substitute dumbbell thrusters instead. If you struggle with achieving proper depth in your squat, please squat to a target like a plyo box or wall ball as discussed in the post about air squats.
